This was an inspiring and enriching five-day event, held in a luxurious Portuguese villa by the serene backwaters of the Mandovi River. As mentors, we collaborated with leading architects, interior designers, and photographers to host a unique residency program for 15 professionals in the design field.

This retreat featured a diverse range of workshops, including sessions on pen and ink techniques, translating abstract music theory into design, interior and architecture photography, wall texture applications, and leveraging travel inspiration for design innovation. Additionally, workshops on creative branding and public relations provided participants with valuable insights on building and promoting their brands effectively.

Beyond the structured workshops, the retreat fostered meaningful interpersonal conversations, encouraging participants to unlearn and relearn design perspectives from the viewpoints of artists, photographers, clients, and consumers. This holistic approach allowed professionals to explore design in a fresh and innovative manner.
