“Awakening Human Senses”
Our 10-day travel retreat in Lahaul, tucked away in Himachal Pradesh’s hidden valleys, was a journey of awakening the senses. Beginning in Manali, we explored the untouched villages of Rashil, Keylong, Miyar Valley, Sissu, and the stunning Chandratal Lake. Each day, a new workshop engaged a different sense—sound healing by rivers, photography in breathtaking landscapes, mountaineering lessons that grounded us, perfume making with wildflowers, and savoring traditional Himachali cuisine.
In Keylong, we partnered with LAHOL NGO to learn about the region’s architectural revival, including the refurbishment of an 80-year-old mudhouse. Our workshops, set in enchanting locations like apple orchards and glacier lakes, deepened our connection to nature and each other. By the end, we had become a tight-knit family, bonded by our shared experiences in this magical retreat.
