About Retreat
Theme:
“Responsible Tourism And Preserving Ethnic Identities”
Our 8-day retreat took us deep into the serene beauty of Tirthan and Jibhi Valley, where 24 explorers immersed themselves in a journey of responsible tourism. We trekked to Jalori Pass and Raghupur Fort, meditated at Shangarh meadows, and even took part in a cleanup drive along the Hippo Fall trail. Lunch by the Tirthan River brought sustainable travel to the forefront, and plunging into its icy waters was a refreshing challenge.
We connected with local Himachali communities, learning about their ethnic identities and how to help preserve their rich cultural heritage. With stunning views, fresh mountain air, and stays in cozy treehouses and homestays, this retreat left us inspired to tread lightly and mindfully on these sacred lands.
